Things to do in Kiawah

Kiawah Island offers the ideal blend of relaxation and adventure, making it the perfect destination to pair with your conference experience. Enjoy 10 miles of pristine beachfront, with soft sand and ocean views.

Take advantage of the island’s beautiful pools, including resort and club pools designed for both family fun and peaceful lounging—some offering oceanfront views, elevated decks, and poolside dining service.

For those seeking relaxation, adventure, or a little of both, Kiawah Island’s parks and recreation areas provide everything from nature trails and biking paths to boating, kayaking, and guided nature tours. Night Heron Park, a guest favorite, features a large playground, open spaces, and family-friendly activities.

New this year! The Treehouse Activity Center at Night Heron Park on Kiawah Island officially opened in January 2026. This new, 7,200-square-foot facility features 8 bowling lanes, golf simulators, a reimagined Nature Center and Art Studio, an arcade, and a pub called The Perch. It serves as a major, family-friendly indoor recreation hub on the island

Whether you want to soak up the sun, unwind by the pool, explore scenic parks, or simply enjoy the island’s laid-back coastal beauty, Kiawah Island offers something for everyone—and every moment here feels like a retreat.
